Ring Size Guide

Finding the right ring size is one of the most important steps to enjoying your Célia piece every day. Take a few minutes to measure carefully — a well-fitted ring should slide on comfortably over the knuckle and rest snugly at the base of your finger, without spinning or pinching.

Our Size Range

Célia rings are available in sizes 6, 7, and 8 (US sizing). If you are between sizes or unsure, we recommend reading the guidance below before placing your order.

How to Measure at Home

You will need a thin strip of paper or a soft measuring tape, a pen, and a ruler.

  1. Measure your finger base: Wrap the paper snugly around the base of your finger — where the ring will sit. Mark where the paper overlaps. Measure the length in millimetres. Divide by 3.14 to get your diameter.
  2. Measure your knuckle: Repeat the same process around your knuckle — the widest point of your finger joint.
  3. Compare both measurements using the chart below to identify which size fits each point.

Size Reference Chart

US Size Circumference (mm) Diameter (mm)
6 51.9 mm 16.5 mm
7 54.4 mm 17.3 mm
8 57.0 mm 18.1 mm

When Your Knuckle Is Larger Than Your Finger Base

This is one of the most common fitting challenges, and you are not alone. Here is how to decide:

  • If the difference is small (half a size or less): Size to your finger base. The ring will pass over your knuckle with a gentle push and sit securely at the base.
  • If the difference is larger (one size or more): Size to your knuckle so the ring passes comfortably without forcing. The ring may feel slightly looser at the base — a ring size adjuster or sizing insert can be used to keep it in place.
  • When in doubt, size up. It is generally easier to adjust a ring that is slightly large than to remove one that is too tight.

For statement or wide-band styles, we also recommend sizing up by half a size, as wider bands tend to fit more snugly.

Measure with Warm Hands

Finger size can change throughout the day depending on temperature, hydration, and activity. Fingers tend to be smallest in the morning when cold and largest in the afternoon or after physical activity. For the most accurate measurement, measure later in the day when your hands are warm and you are at a comfortable temperature. Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold or swollen.
